Carmon George Rausch, age 82, of Ludlow Falls, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio.
He was a good man, and a good husband, father and papaw. Retired from DP&L over 25 years ago, he has enjoyed mowing, taking care of his yard and garden, and feeding the birds, with special care for the bluebirds that nested there every year.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George ‘Pip’ and Irene Rausch, sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Don Nicol, and nephew, Brian. He is survived by his wife, Janet Rausch, of 44 years, his sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Ron McKenzie, his two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Jyle Johnson, Bill and Penny Johnson, his grandchildren Kaleb and Jillian, Logan, Riley, Diana and Lauren, and his great-grandchildren, River and Raine, along with many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of services, we will honor his request for cremation with Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, West Milton. Online memories of Carmon may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
