Cecelia Peele

Age 86, of West Milton, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Otterbein of Tipp City. She was born January 25, 1939, in Tipp City, Ohio, to her parents Clyde & Margaret (Kessler) Stockslager.

Cecelia graduated from Tipp City High School class of 1957. She worked as a homemaker and later volunteered at Brukner Nature Center as a naturalist for over 25 years. She was a lifetime member of the Nashville United Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Terry A. Peele and her siblings Russel, Mike, Anna Mae, Betty Kessler, Fred, Jim, Marvin, and Lee.  She will be missed and remembered by her children and their spouses Tim Peele of Tipp City, Don & Kellie Peele of Troy, Scott & Susan Peele of Laura, Grant & Kristina Peele of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren Jessica, Nathan, Jennifer, Samuel, Terri, Robert, Seth, Allen, and Zakhery; brother Roy Stockslager; sisters-in-law Carlene Stockslager and Opal Stockslager; brother-in-law Ron Cress.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, December 20, Nashville United Church of Christ, 40 W State Route 571, West Milton. Interment will follow at Wheelock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:30 AM Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Habitat for Humanity, 150 E Race St, Troy, OH 45373 .
