Charlotte Ann Hepfer of West Milton, age 79, passed away on March 29, 2020. Charlotte was born on September 28, 1940 to the late Robert and Lottie (Bass) Hopkins in Exeter, Virginia. She married James A. Hepfer on August 25, 1977, and they began their life together. She went on to serve as a Miami County, Ohio 911 dispatcher, and attended Hoffman United Methodist Church in West Milton. Charlotte enjoyed spending time with family, crocheting, and watching Hallmark movies. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband James A. Hepfer. She is survived by her loving sons David L. (Rhonda) Smith of West Milton and Michael L. (Jeanne) Smith of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; grandchildren David M. Smith of West Milton, Heather M. (Corey Enis-fiance’) Smith of Englewood, Ashley N. (Ray Smith-fiance’) Smith of Troy, Steven M. (Krystal) Smith of Troy, Jessika K. (Mack) Malone of Johnstown, Colorado, Michaela P. (Dylan) Richardson of Fort Collins, Colorado; great-grandchildren Ambyr P. Hoshauer and Charles E. Hoshauer III of Englewood, Sawyer R., Owen L., Blake E. Smith of Troy, and Cooper J. and Everett M. Malone of Johnstown, Colorado. Private graveside services will be held by the family with interment following at Wheelock Cemetery; arrangements in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton.
