Christopher “Chris” W. White, age 64, of New Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Kettering Hospital Main Campus. He was born July 6, 1960 to Joseph Wayne & Janet Josepha (Verschelden) White in Knob Noster, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his father Joseph White; loving wife Angela Faith (Klassen) White.
He will be missed and remembered by his loving daughters Leah White (Chad Grimm) of Columbus, Sara (Ryan) Willen of Bellbrook, Annemarie (Bryan) Bradford of Centerville, and Amie White of New Carlisle; mother Janet White of London; grandchildren Chloe, Everett, and Rowan; siblings Joseph “Wayne” White of Dayton, Patricia “Trish” (John) Fimiani of Urbana, and Chad (Sarah) White of London.
Chris loved his family with all of his heart! He was married to the love of his life for 34 wonderful years before his wife was called to Heaven. Together, Chris and Angela built a beautiful life raising their four daughters who they both were so proud of. Anyone who knows Chris knows that he had the most infectious laugh and sense of humor. He often shared the same jokes over and over, a trait he got from his dad. Chris was a devoted Christian and an avid leader in his father’s church for many years. Chris served as the pastor of his father’s church after his passing. He was highly respected by his congregation as well as many others. Chris was a graduate of Wright State University where he earned his degree in Engineering. Following his graduation, it didn’t take long for Chris’ employers to see his unique value. Most notably, at Honda, where he spent nearly 30 years of his career. Chris was continuously recognized at Honda for his abilities to improve efficiencies in the day-to-day operations. Chris enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling (especially his most recent cruise to Alaska which was a long-time dream of his), and going to the dog park with his little buddy Spencer.
