Cindy L (Little) Jones

Cindy L. Jones, of Troy, formerly of West Milton, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. She was born December 21, 1952 to Ward Jr & Mary Lee (Minnery) Little in Dayton, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Steve Jones in 2018.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving children Sarah Jones of Troy, and Luke (Kelly) Jones of West Milton; grandchildren Alyssa and Aubrey Jones of West Milton; brother Dan Little of South Carolina.

Cindy was a 1971 Milton-Union High School graduate. She made the most out of everything she did in life. She earned her masters degree in early childhood development from UD and taught at Riverside Schools in Troy Ohio, where her daughter Sarah still attends today. She enjoyed everything about the outdoors, yet Hostas were her favorite species of the many plants she had. She was a member of the National Hosta Society and has her own species of Hosta named Appliqué that she created, sustained and is registered. Cindy also enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Quilting Guild where she has made numerous quilts that were displayed all over her home and given to others. She volunteered at the Miami County Humane Society and 4 Paws for Ability to help children and veterans with disabilities. She loved playing cards with her friends and family as well as having a love for her antiques.  Cindy enjoyed a long, full and happy life with her husband and family and impacted more people than she will ever know. She will always be loved and missed by everyone that knew her.

A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held from 1-3 PM on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Hale House Event Center, 320 N. Miami St, West Milton (adjacent the parking lot of Hale-Sarver). Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Milton-Union Track Club.
