Dan Sprinkle “Dandy Dan”, age 68, of Brookville, OH passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born February 13, 1958 to James David & Sarah Jean (Kessler) Sprinkle in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Dan was a long-term resident of Brookhaven Nursing Home; he loved his home and all his friends there. He made sure he told every woman that they were beautiful. He was such a kind and gentle spirit and a ray of sunshine everywhere he went. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jon and Paul Sprinkle; sister Erin Sprinkle.

He will be missed and remembered by his brothers James Sprinkle of LA, Ben Sprinkle of OH, Joel Sprinkle of OH, Sam Sprinkle of FL, and Tom Sprinkle of KY; sisters Rebecca Chambers of OH, Stephanie Sprinkle of TX, and Heather Sprinkle of MO; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 15, 2026 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Burial will follow in Wheelock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM on Sunday, June 14 at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Brookhaven Retirement Community Activities Fund.
