Darlene Rose Mary Mitchum
Age 59, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020, at her home. She was born December 25, 1960, on Cincinnati, Ohio, to her parents George Bernard & Rena Faye (Johnson) Boiman. She attended Aiken High School. On December 17, 1977, she married William Mitchum, Jr. in Cincinnati and together they raised a family and  shared a life for over 42 years. She was a Navy wife for over 20 years. She enjoyed scrapbooking, bingo, board games, and watching Big Bang Theory, Walton’s Mountain, and Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. 
She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband William Mitchum, Jr.; children and their spouses Cathy Jackson & Chris Melendez of Riverside, Steven Jackson & Lori Blevins of Riverside, Shannon & John Lowe of Riverside, Steven & Amanda Mitchum of Newark, Stephanie Mitchum-Craft of Riverside, Bobby Mitchum & Drew Russell of Dayton; grandchildren Alyssa & Luke Sowers, Alysson, Alex, Ryan, Austin, Abbi, Joey, Charlie, Brooklyn, Sammi, Jaxson, Caleb, Bexley, Brynn; great grandchildren Amirah, Braxton, Baby Joe, Cooper; siblings and their spouses Chuck & Becky Boiman of Cincinnati, Vickie & George Tiemeyer of Goshen, Mike & Nancy Mitchum of Georgia,  Paula & Bob Nusekabel of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her in-law Nancy & Dave Roberson, Gladys and Bob Hoffer, Harold Mitchum. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday May 7, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton.
