David Robinson Knoop

Age 80, of Troy, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. He was born August 6, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio,  to his parents Paul Eugene, Sr. & Julia (Robinson) Knoop. David graduated from O.R. Edgington High School and retired from Dayton Parks District as a park manager. He was a US Army veteran and enjoyed bird watching and horticulture.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Judy Darlene (Criswell) Knoop; sisters Sue Cahill, Joanne Connors, and Marlene Merritt. He will be missed and remembered by his daughter Amy Hughes of West Milton; grandson Jordan Joseph Hughes; brother and sister-in-law Paul Eugene, Jr. & Cathy Knoop of Hocking Hills; sister Bev Warner of Dayton.
