David W. Stine

David W. Stine, age 82, of Ludlow Falls, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Grandview Hospital. He was born November 15, 1939 to the late John William “Bill” & Verna Elizabeth (Pearson) Stine in Miami County, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Susan Stine Bradley; siblings Lee and Billy Stine. He will be missed and remembered by Pegge R. (Green) Stine of 62 years; children Philip (Teresa) Stine of West Milton, Timothy (Monica) Stine of Laura, and Daniel (Annette) Stine of Pleasant Hill; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; sisters Barbara Boggs, Darlene Hall, and Kathy Elifritz. David was a 1957 Milton-Union High School graduate. He was an electrical technician for Duriron and served his country proudly in the United States Navy. David worked for Milton-Union Schools as a bus driver for 12 years. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of God and met with retirees twice a month at Frisch’s. He loved going to children, grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities and puttering around his yard and barn. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Burial with military honors will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, December 28 at the funeral home.
