David Zembo Obituary

David Andrew Zembo, age 69, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. He was born February 4, 1949 to late Anthony Sr & Bert (Price) Zembo in Dayton, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother John Zembo. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Barbara Ann (Hahn) Zembo of 47 years; children Drew Zembo of Troy and Mandy Zembo of Tipp City; granddaughter Abby Zembo of West Milton; siblings Tony (Beverly) Zembo of Rochester, MI, Gary (Judy) Zembo of Beavercreek; brother-in-law Jerry (Patty) Hahn of Troy and numerous nieces and nephews. David was a 1967 Beavercreek High School graduate and went on to be a tool and die maker for General Motors. He had a love of watching sports including football, hockey, soccer, NASCAR and baseball. He enjoyed bowling and coaching youth baseball in his younger years and going to the casino and playing Keno. A gathering of friends and family will take place from 2 – 5 PM on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at The Caroline, 5 S. Market St, Troy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in David’s honor to Hospice of Miami County. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton.
