Dean Everett Sowers
Age 73, of Laura, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019. He was born May 4, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, to his parents Everett & Helen (Swank) Sowers. Dean graduated from Milton-Union High School and retired from General Motor for over 30 years. 
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Sherrie Anne (Gessler) Sowers; son Rick Sowers; siblings Galen Sowers, Alonzo Sowers, and Stephen Sowers.
He will be missed and remembered by his children and their spouses Timothy & Mysti Zink of Xenia, Brian Zink of Dayton, Melissa Marks of Dayton,  Jennifer & Todd Stiver of Arcanum, Janemarie Sowers of Moraine; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law Paul Sowers of Piqua, Phil & Kaye Sowers of Laura; former wife Regina Webb of Florida.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 9:00-10:00 AM Saturday, November 23, at Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton. A graveside service will follow at Mote Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan B. Kormen Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway
