Dennis Baker Obituary Dennis A. Baker

Age 69, of Covington, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. He was born July 29, 1954, in Greenville, Ohio, to his parents Paul & Thelma (Hollinger) Baker. Dennis graduated from Greenville High School class of 1972. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Laura and later enjoyed watching online services at Grace Baptist Church in Sidney. He also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors fishing and camping. Dennis was a hobby horticulturist who loved collecting plants such as bonsai, cacti, and other tropical varieties. He will be missed and remembered by his mother Thelma Baker of Greenville; daughter and son-in-law Jennifer & Kevin West of Covington; son Shawn Baker of Greenville; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Gary & Irene Baker of Lebanon; special friend Melissa Johnson of Troy; and numerous extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Paul R. Baker. A memorial service 10:30 AM Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
