Diana Jean Bucholtz

Diana Jean Bucholtz, age 68, of Laura, Ohio, passed away on February 7, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 18, 1955 to her late parents Roy and Opal (McFann) Carter in Dayton, Ohio.

She is dearly loved and cherished by her devoted husband, Nick Bucholtz of 27 years; children Rebecca May (Daniel) of Gettysburg and Jerald Lock (Candice) of Springboro; grandchildren Adam May, Landon Lock, Makenna Lock; and her loving brother and sister-in-law Ray and Leslie Carter. She will be missed and remembered by her brother-in-law Steve Bucholtz (Staci); beloved niece Nora (Scott) Gruber; nephews Joshua Carter and Ryan Bucholtz; great niece Raegan Carter; great nephews, Nate and Seth Gruber as well as numerous cousins, extended family, and special friends.

Diana was a longtime friend and dedicated employee of Tom Wagner and Wagner Paving where she worked a variety of jobs for over the course of many years. She was a homesteader and homemaker. Diana was passionate about life and had a multitude of interests including cooking, baking, gardening, crafting, genealogy, bee keeping, making maple syrup, and raising chickens.

Diana especially enjoyed moments spent with her loved ones. These gatherings were always filled with fun and laughter. She leaves behind a legacy of family, faith, and treasured memories. She will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM.
