She was born November 14, 1940, in Dayton, Ohio to Donald and Violet Recher. She was widely admired for her artistic talent and the joy she brought to others through her work as an artist-teaching ceramic classes, founding Hobby Hut in West Milton and Dona’s Molds in Laura. Dona enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother, and loved spending time with family, friends, and getting lucky playing BINGO!

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Linder; children, Jeff (Sue) Snipes, Jay (Jeannie) Snipes, and Jill Brown; grandchildren, Mandy (Erick) Schwartz, Drew (Heather) Simon, Matt Snipes, Jessica (Ray) Mervar, Marina Snipes, Heidi Snipes, Tara Snipes, and Ryan Brown; great-grandchildren, Karlee, Colin, Weston, Raven, Mackenzie, Wyatt, Willa, and Mason; and brother, Todd (Karyn) Recher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Snipes, and her parents, Donald and Violet Recher.

Dona will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the way she made everyone feel loved and welcome. Her love lives on in her family and the many lives she touched.

A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Dona’s life. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton. Online memories of Dona may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
