Donald Eugene Wood

Age 89, of Englewood, formerly of West Milton, fell asleep on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Grace Brethren Village, Englewood. He was born August 28, 1936, in Sidney, Ohio, to his parents Thomas Leroy & Mary Ida (Adkins) Wood who preceded him in death.  Don worked for BF Goodrich in Troy and later retired from Cummins Engines as an electronics technician. Following his retirement, he opened Don’s TV Repair Service in Bloomington, Indiana. He enjoyed computers, electronics, fishing and spending time with his puppy, Sparky. He was a longtime member of the Brush Creek Church of God and served his country in the US Marine Corp. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife of 47 years Shirley Ann (Brown) Wood; daughters and sons-in-law Teresa Wood-Mazotti of Colorado, Susan & David Coy of Sidney; sons and daughters-in-law Robert & Jane Wood of Sidney, Timothy Wood of Sidney, Kelly Wood of Sidney; step son and step daughter-in-law Bruce Wayne & Debbie Reye of West Milton; step-daughter Dayle Felts of Michigan; numerous grandchildren and extended family. He was preceded in death by his son Jeffrey Wood; brothers Thomas Richard Wood and James Wood; sisters Jane Whited and Dorothy Wood. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Friday, September 12, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton. Pastor Jeff Ludden will officiate with interment following at Curtis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 AM Friday at the funeral home.
