Douglas Baker Obituary Douglas Edwin Baker II “Dougie”
Age 35, of Piqua, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at his home. He was born August 10, 1988, in Carlsbad, California, to his parents Douglas Edwin Baker and Cecilia Teresa Jean (Helleis) Baker. Dougie enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing, but mostly he loved spending time with sons and his family. He will be missed and remembered by his parents; children Daimen Baker and Izaiah Baker; siblings Leslie Denlinger of West Milton, Beverly (Matt) Crowe of Xenia, Andrew Baker of Lima, Cassie (Kevin) Shurts of Kettering, Kaleb Baker of Spencerville; grandma Shirley Harlow; numerous uncles, aunts, and extended family . He was preceded in death by his grandparents Philip Karl Helleis, Beverly Herbeta (Allee) Helleis, Edwin Delone Baker.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 14, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with Pastor Roy Glass officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Go Fund Me.
