Douglas L. Fetters

Douglas Lynn Fetters, age 60, of West Milton, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Miami Valley North Hospital. He was born October 27, 1962 to Larry Lee & Mary Louise (Lambert) Fetters in Troy, Ohio.

He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Frances Ann (Ferry) Fetters of 34 years; parents Larry & Mary Fetters; daughters Andrea Marie Fetters (fiancé Shane William Fogarty) and Claire Jordan Fetters (fiancé Jacob Tyler Binegar); and sister Cheryl (Mark) Herkins.

Doug was a 1981 Milton-Union High School graduate then went on to graduate from Bowling Green State University, where he also played collegiate football for 2 years. He worked as a product manager for Regal Rexnord. Doug grew up attending Pleasant Hill Church of God and then regularly attended the Church of the Transfiguration in West Milton with his family. He would work along aside his father Larry at Fetters Racing Engines and enjoyed attending the Milton-Union High School football games as well as Ohio State football games. Doug loved watching the Cincinnati Bengals and the Reds games but most of all spending time with his family and being in the outdoors.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery, Laura. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Thursday, August 17 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Milton-Union Athletics in Doug’s memory.
