Elizabeth “Betty” Jane Knepshield

Age 85, passed away, Sunday, January 10, 2021, at River Oaks Alzheimer’s Special Care.

She was born May 28, 1935, in Franklin, Ohio, to her parents Donald Earl & Mabel Rosina (Ross) Sprinkle. She graduated from Seven Mile High School class of 1954 and worked as a preschool teacher at Early Beginnings Child Care. She was a longtime member of the Transfiguration Catholic Church where she worked in the day care. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles E. Knepshield; brother Don Sprinkle. 

She will be missed and remembered by her children and their spouses Tim & Marcia Knepshield of Union, Jim & Dawn Knepshield of Greenville, Julie & Winston Long of Florida; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister Geraldine Beiser of Trenton. 

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, January 15, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton. Interment at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 AM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brukner Nature Center.
