Age 80, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Union City Care Center. He was born November 2, 1942, in Troy, Ohio, to his parents Wilbur Ned & Wilma (Christian) Shiverdecker. Gary graduated from Newton High School class of 1960 where he was a star baseball and basketball player. He retired from Miami County as a street department supervisor. He loved animals and enjoyed watching stock car racing. He will be missed and remembered by his wife Cheryl Christine ( Beeman) Shiverdecker; son and daughter-in-law Gary “Shane” & Berna Shiverdecker of Georgia; daughter and daughter-in-law Shannon Shiverdecker and Kathi Duncan of Kentucky; sister and brother-in-law Connie & Steve Shade of Indiana. Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Humane Society. Memories may be shared online at www.jackson-sarver.com
