Gary Kay Welbaum

Gary Kay Welbaum, age 88, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 29, 1935 to Hobart & Marguerite (Dye) Welbaum in Troy, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Inez (Mote) Welbaum of 65 years; siblings Kenneth Welbaum, Deanna Tamerman, Fred Welbaum, Rodger Welbaum, Jean Waldheim, Nancy Wintrow, Gordan Welbaum, Philip Welbaum, and Janet Jo Thompson.

He will be missed and remembered by his children Timothy (Lori) Welbaum Sr of Milford, MI, Micheal Welbaum of Troy, Jeffrey Welbaum Sr of Troy, and Judy (Timothy) Fisher of Maumee; 21 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brother Gilbert Welbaum; sister-in-law Rosa Lee Welbaum.

Gary retired as a supervisor for the Miami Conservancy District of Miami County after 45 years of service from 1951-1996. He loved bowling, gardening, bike riding, walking and raising farm animals. Gary also loved spending time with his wife, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and family.

Services will be held at a later date in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton.
