Georgia Pauline (Edmonds) Moody, 93, of Troy Ohio. Was born in Overton County, Cookeville Tennessee on October 28, 1927 passed away peacefully on May 18, 2021 at SpringMeade Health Center in Tipp City Ohio. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband James Earl Moody, her parents Rufus & Gooley Edmonds and her daughter Carolyn Jane Payton. Surviving relatives are Son-in-Law Joe Payton, grandchildren Mary and Joseph Payton, and sister Betty Mullins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 5 sisters: Rosa Taylor, Gladys Barnes, Rudy Bull, Jean Gray and Jewel Edmonds, her 4 brothers: Sherman Edmonds, Thurman (Cotton) Edmonds, Herman (Shorty) Edmonds and Elmer C. Edmonds, Brother-in-Laws Glenn Moody, Doyle Moody, Ernest Moody and JB Davidson and Sister-in-Laws Geraldine Davidson, Dean Moody, Betty Moody and Edith Netherton. Surviving Brothers and Sisters-in-Laws are Herman Moody, Joe & Agnes Moody, Don & Barb Moody, Virginia Moody, Faye Davidson and Dawson Netherton. Pauline has a host of nieces, nephews and cousins to morn her passing. Pauline loved her family very much and was devoted to them. Her favorite saying was, “The love of a family is one of God’s greatest blessings.” Pauline taught school in Overton County Tennessee and then worked at Lucas Ledex in Dayton Ohio for 24 ½ years. Pauline was saved when she was 14 years old. Pauline was a faithful Christian, an active member of Cornerstone Baptist Temple for several years and was attending Grace Baptist Church in Ludlow Falls Ohio for several years. Visitation in Ohio will be held at Grace Baptist Church in Ludlow Falls Ohio on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021 from 4pm-6pm with a funeral service to follow. Visitation in Tennessee will be held at Poplar Springs Church on Tuesday, May 25th from 12:00pm-2:00pm CST. Funeral Services will be held by Pastor Doug Hawkins on Tuesday, May 25th at 2:00pm CST. Burial will be at Poplar Springs Cemetery in Cookeville, Tennessee following the service. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Poplar Springs Cemetery, with in remembrance of Pauline in the memo line and mailed to: Gary Moody 352 Sliger Rd. Cookeville TN 38506.
