Geraldine L. Cummins

Geraldine L. Cummins, age 94, of Troy, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. She was born June 24, 1927 to Walter & Jenny (Thompson) Reck in Newberry Township, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl F. Cummins; siblings JW, Harry, Carl, Cletus, Tom, Othal, Kate, Vera, Mary, Alice, Bertha, Pat, Edna, and Rachel. She will be missed and remembered by her loving children Cindy Cummins of Troy and Rod (Susan) Cummins of Troy; grandchildren Amanda Cummins (Eva-dog), Cassie (Mark) Tischer, Miranda (Cody) Orman; great grandchildren Stella, William, and Henry Tischer and Brad and Julia Orman; sisters-in-law Luella Reck and Jean Hare. Geraldine was a Bradford High School graduate and a member of the West Milton United Church of Christ. She also loved playing cards, cooking and baking. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, 3230 N. Co. Rd. 25A, Troy, OH 45373.
