Grace C. Farmer

GRACE CHRISTINE FARMER, 27, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 30th, 2021 when she and the love of her life, James “Jamie” Earl Morris, lost their lives in a tragic motorcycle accident. Grace died doing what she loved with whom she loved more than anything. Grace was born February 9th, 1994 in Dayton, Ohio.  Grace was a free spirit with many interests from fashion to travel, but above all she loved working on cars and motorcycles. Beyond her varied interests, what many may not know is Grace had a passion to reach out and help whoever she could that was in need. She truly loved her neighbor as herself. The Christ like love that Grace demonstrated in helping others will live on long after her, impacting many who never met her. Grace is preceded by her grandfather, James Edward Westrich. She is survived by her son Chace and his adoptive parents, Damian and Michele. She is also survived by parents Ryan and Paulette Farmer of Clayton, brother David Samuel Farmer of Bellingham, WA and sister Rachel Anne Farmer of Clayton; grandparents Mary Westrich of Clayton, Jan Farmer of Rio Rancho, NM and W. Michael Farmer of Smithfield, VA; three aunts, four uncles, seven cousins, and her dog Bo. In the words of C.S. Lewis, she is exploring “further up and further in.” Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N Miami St, West Milton, OH.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 17th at 1:00pm at Dayton Living Word Church, 926 E National Rd, Vandalia, OH, with a graveside service immediately following at Minnich Cemetery in Union, Ohio.
