Grace Laverne (Cummings) Snyder

Grace Laverne Snyder, age 92, of West Milton, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. She was born July 2, 1934 to Irvin Harold & Nellie Ruth (Soverns) Cummings in Zelma, Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Warren Lynn Snyder Sr; daughter Tami Swedzinski; siblings Kelly Cummings, Marvin Cummings, Virginia Richardson, and Douglas Cummings.

She will be missed and remembered by her daughter Debi Young of West Milton; son Lynn Snyder of Norristown, PA; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren siblings Isabelle Gunderson of Columbus, OH, Roger (Patty) Cummings of Indianapolis, IN.

Grace was a long-time member of the Eagledale Baptist Church and later at Crosspointe Baptist Church in Indianapolis. She loved sewing, quilting, and was a connoisseur of herbs whether her knowledge of or use of them.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Grace Baptist Church, 2500 St. Rt. 48, Ludlow Falls, OH with a memorial service beginning at 3:00 PM.
