Herbert L Brumbaugh

Herbert L. Brumbaugh, age 90, of Covington, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Hospice of Miami County. He was born September 16, 1934 to Aubrey & Susan (Bashore) Brumbaugh in West Milton, Ohio. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Barbara Jean (Cantrell) Brumbaugh; siblings Eddie (Ruth Ann) Brumbaugh, Shirley (Russell) Wherley, Calvin Brumbaugh, Linda (Jerry) Sherick, and Marvin Brumbaugh; brother-in-law Bob Middlestetter.

He will be missed and remembered by his loving sons Rockie Brumbaugh of Lancaster, KY, and Mike (Sheryl) Brumbaugh of Brookville; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister Alice Middlestetter of Arcanum; sister-in-law Dorothy Brumbaugh of Laura.

Herbert had a passion for horses especially going to the Miami County Fair Horse Pulls, going trail riding, and a member of the Draft Horse Association.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton. Online memories of Herbert may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
