Howard Charles Phillips, age 73, of Union, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Kindred Hospital Dayton. He was born January 3, 1952 in Lakewood, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father Betty and Bernie Noble; father Donald Phillips; sister Holly Hayes.
He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Jacqi K. (Nieberding) Phillips of 43 years; sons Kenneth (Lauren) Phillips of West Milton, Christopher (Kendra) Phillips of Ludlow Falls; grandchildren Lane Phillips, Holt Phillips, Chase Phillips, and Sophia Luciano; chosen sons and family Christopher Koverman of Valrico, FL, Randy (Amanda) Compton of Valrico, FL, Hayden and Jaxon Compton; siblings Craig (Carol) Phillips of Lake St. Louis, MO, Michelle Tekavec of Michigan; brother-in-law Chuck Hayes of Lakewood, OH; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Howard served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. A long-standing wrestling official in Nevada, Ohio, Alabama, Colorado, and was an avid fan of all sports and activities. He studied at The Ohio State University, loved watching sports, Genealogy Research, and an avid fan of all the grandchildren’s activities.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton. Online memories of Howard may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
