Age 92, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022. He was born November 19, 1929, in Dayton, Ohio, to his parents Verto & Ollie May (McCaslin) Link. Jack retired as a steam engineer for Dayton Power & Light and was a member of the Sugar Grove Bible Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and he and Phyllis enjoyed spending summers at their cabin in the Big Horn Mountains.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Phyllis Lou (Cook) Link; his parents; step father Ted Patty; brother Donald Link; sister Maxine Hesseman. He will be missed and remembered by his children and their spouses Marvin & Brenda Link of Tipp City, Christine & Thom Gabel of Tipp City, Gail & Greg Hounshell of Cincinnati; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister Mary Jane Patrick of Missouri; step brother Gordon Patty of Friendship Village.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 3, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment following at Harris Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
