James B. McAdams, Sr.

Age 88, of Troy, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. He was born June 22, 1932, in Preble County, Ohio, to his parents Charles & Nina (Duke) McAdams. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Peggy E. (Oaks) McAdams; son James McAdams; brother Dennis McAdams. He will be missed and remembered by his children and their spouses Leanna & Ernie Banks of Clarksville, Tammy Miller of Sidney, Charles & Sandra McAdams of Minster, Bryan McAdams of Troy, Theresa Shawler of Troy; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister Darlene Filbrun of West Alexandria, Allen & Patty McAdams of Glouster, Paul & Sue McAdams of Piqua. Private family services will be held with interment at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
