James Fredrick Plummer, Age 89, of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at his home. He was born March 13, 1932, in Dayton, Ohio, to his parents Jack Westley & Ida Loretta (Burns) Plummer. Jim graduated from Milton-Union High School and retired from BF Goodrich as a supervisor. He was a US Army veteran, past secretary of the West Milton Fire Department and a past chief of the Union Township Rescue Squad. He was preceded in death by his first wife Joyce Anita (Longenecker) Plummer and his second wife Johnnie M. (Tabor) Plummer. He will be missed and remembered by his daughter and son-in-law Kandy & William Kavey of Springboro; son Gary Plummer of Union Town; step children Robert Edward & Lynette Keyes of Garden City, Michigan, Todd Parham of Westland, Michigan, John Parham of Tipp City; 2 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; sister Jayne Miller of Englewood. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, January 3, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 AM Monday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the West Milton Fire Department.
