Janice Pauline Allen

Janice Pauline Allen, age 91, of Tipp City, formerly of Sinking Spring, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. She was born March 23, 1929 to the late David William & Naomi S. (Shellabarger) Mote in New York. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Wayne Leroy Allen and brother Kenneth Mote. She will be missed and remembered by her loving children Sandra (Chris) Funderburg of Tipp City, David (Rhonda) Buehler of Kettering, Wendy (Mark) Edgington of West Carrollton, and Larry (Marilyn) Allen of North Genola, UT; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Janice was a member of the Eastern Star, Ohio Horseman’s Council and Sinking Spring Community Church. She loved spending time with her family, taking care of her horses and going to church. The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a memorial service beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sinking Spring Community Church, 23 N.
