Jeffrey Bernard Tkach, age 61, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Hospice of Miami County. He was born October 3, 1961 to John R. & Edith (Sullivan) Tkach in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He is preceded in death by his mother Edith Tkach; stepmother Theresa Tkach; brother Greg Tkach.
He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Karyn Anne (Clark) Tkach of 37 years; father John R. Tkach of Miami, FL; children Jeremy Tkach (Ashley Fox) of Albuquerque, NM, Aiden, Mackenzie, Makayla, and Adam Tkach all of Troy; siblings David (Kathy) Tkach of Franklin, TN, and Lisa Tkach (Ed Linares) of Miami, FL.
Jeff served his country proudly in the United States Air Force and retired after 21 years of service. He served as department chair at the Defense Acquisitions University and a member of the Covenant at Sugar Grove. Jeff loved studying and teaching the word of God, was an avid runner, and a diehard Pittsburg Steeler fan. He loved the Lord, Jesus Christ with all his heart along with his wife and children.
The family will receive friends from 10 AM- 12 PM on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Covenant at Sugar Grove, 7875 Kessler-Frederick Rd, Tipp City, OH 45371 with a celebration of life beginning at 12:00 PM. Private burial will be held in Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orphan Voice, PO Box 910410, Lexington, KY 40591 or Thirdmill Ministries, 316 Live Oaks Blvd, Casselberry, FL 32707.
