Jeffrey Arthur Weaver, age 60, of Tipp City, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. He was born April 28, 1964 to Norman Ray & Roberta Ann (Reeder) Weaver in Troy, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his father Norman Ray Weaver. He will be missed and remembered by his loving mother Roberta Ann Weaver of Tipp City; siblings Keith Weaver of Tipp City, Larry Weaver of Dayton, Marlene (Weaver) & Raymond Shook of Vandalia, and Roger & Erica Weaver of Port Orchard, WA; niece and nephews Alex Shook of Springfield, Daniel Shook of Vandalia, and Katelyn Weaver of Tipp City.
Jeff was a 1982 graduate of Tippecanoe High School, and following graduation served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He went on to start his career at Ray’s Supermarket, first at the Troy location and then in Lima, where he worked for many years. To be closer to family, Jeff eventually moved to Kroger in Vandalia, where he retired in 2021 due to medical issues. He was a member of the Lima Bridge Club and enjoyed going to the Hamvention activities, singing and doing karaoke. Jeff loved card and board games, especially Scrabble, and also loved doing crossword puzzles and making them. He enjoyed trivia was a great speller.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 N. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, OH 45377 with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton. Interment will be held at a later date in Bethel Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association. Online memories of Jeff may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
