Jennifer Carstensen Obituary

Jennifer K. Carstensen (McIntosh)

Age 55, formerly of West Milton, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of joy and friendship.

She was a true light in the lives of all who knew her. Jenny was born on April 27, 1970, in Dayton, Ohio. Jenny spent her years in her hometown and was a proud graduate of Milton-Union High School, class of 1988. Her educational journey laid a strong foundation for the kind, gregarious person she became, known for her spirited and friendly nature.

Above all, family was the center of Jenny's world. She is survived by her father and step-mother Jerry E. & Patricia McIntosh of Port Charlotte, Florida, her mother and step-father Judy (Browning) & Lyle Maiden of Pineville, Kentucky, her son Christopher "Justin" Carstensen of West Milton, and her cherished grandchildren Ava and Rowan. She also leaves behind her caring brother, Jerry "Kenny" McIntosh & Jennifer Budding of West Milton and Kenny’s children Jordan & Jayden McIntosh, Taylor McIntosh & Trey Cross, and Blake McIntosh; great-niece Nora; great-nephews Taron and Baylor; life-long friend Doug Clegg.

Jenny's interests were a reflection of the warmth and depth of her personality. She had a gifted hand in the kitchen and enjoyed cooking, creating countless memories over shared meals with family and friends. Her passion for her grandchildren knew no bounds, her heart and home a haven for their laughter and smiles. As an avid Miami Dolphins fan, Jenny could always be counted on to bring energy and pride to game days.

Her community presence was equally impactful. A dedicated member of the VFW posts 5434 and 8211, Jenny's spirit of service and camaraderie was evident in her involvement. She truly never met a stranger, and she loved talking to people, making connections and friendships that were as enduring as they were instant.

Jenny's radiant energy, kindness, and spirit of friendship are her lasting contributions to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her memory will endure in the hearts of her friends, family, and all the lives she touched with her incredible spirit.
