Jerome Huber

Age 89, of Troy, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Hospice of Dayton. 

He was born May 9, 1934, at home in North Royalton, Ohio, to his parents Nicholas & Dorothy (Schneider) Huber.  Jerome graduated from Elyria Catholic High School and earned his bachelors degree from John Carroll University. He retired from Merrill Lynch as a financial planner after 36 years and served his country in the US Army.   He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Mary Helen (Goring) Huber; children and their spouses Jerry Huber of Austin, Texas, Richard (Tricia) Huber of Granville, Andrea Huber The Villages, Florida, Douglas Huber of Los Angeles, California, Joseph Huber of Raleigh, North Carolina, Kevin Barhorst of Canal Winchester, Carrie (Derek) Clarke of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Sarah Barhorst of Hilliard,  Grace (Scott) Knittle of Dublin, Gregory (Wendy) Barhorst of Kettering; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister Dorothy J. Morris of Brunswick. He was preceded in death by his daughter Eva Huber; siblings James Huber, Thomas Huber, Adele Borling, Virginia Beriswill. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will held 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 17, at the Church of the Transfiguration Catholic Church, 972  S. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment following at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 AM Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Miami County Right to Life Society, P O Box 201, Troy, Ohio 45373.
