Jerry L. Pinkerton, age 80, of West Milton, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born March 1, 1944 to Alfred E. & Katherine (Miller) Pinkerton in Dayton, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by parents; loving wife Sharyn Kay (Hoover) Pinkerton; siblings Larry Pinkerton and Marcia Miller.
He will be missed and remembered by his loving children Kyle (Tracy) Pinkerton of West Milton, Tricia (Dan) Puterbaugh of Kaneohe, HI, Carrie (Brian) Karshner of Lewis Center; grandchildren Misty, Dean, Johnny, Rikki, Trace, Brooke, Eric, Abby, Luke; great grandchildren Annabella, Memphis, Grant, Carter, Khaled, Quinn; loving companion Peggy Nihizer.
Jerry was a member of the Hoffman Global Methodist Church and attended Ginghamsburg Church. He was a past chairman and committee member of Young Spirits for over 25 years, past Scout master of the Boy Scout Troop 60, past Rotary member and past member of the West Milton Park Board. Jerry also was a member of the West Milton Cable Committee and Lowry Complex.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Hoffman Global Methodist Church, 201 S. Main St, West Milton. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, May 28 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to Hoffman Global Methodist Church.
