Joana Elaine Seel

Joana Elaine Seel, age 66, of West Milton, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born April 13, 1958 to the late Robert Joseph & Janet Eileen (Myers) Delk in Dayton, Ohio.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving children Shawn (Miranda) Saunders of Potsdam, Jennifer Saunders (Brian Beaver) of Delaware, OH, Ashley (Doug) Henning of West Milton, Jaime Knightstep of Huber Heights, and Jaclyn Seel of Troy; four legged companion Piper the wiener dog; grandchildren Ethan Saunders, Brenin Beaver, Brice Beaver, Brooklyn Beaver, Breelyn Beeman, Kelsea Henning, Joel Henning, Kamden Vanwinkle; siblings Dennis (Tammy) Delk of West Milton, Tim (Teresea) Delk of Lake Cumberland, KY, Mary Ann (Richard) Beck of Louisville, KY, Diana (Ralph) Simmons of West Milton.

Joana was a member of the Potsdam Church of the Brethren where she enjoyed taking her children to church. She retired from Riverside in Miami County as a support specialist where she enjoyed her time there. Joana enjoyed everything Christmas, shopping, working in her flower beds and gardening. She also loved going to family activities and get togethers, and going on gator rides on the family farm.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM- 12 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Potsdam Church of the Brethren, 22 E. Cross St, Potsdam, OH 45361 with a memorial service beginning at 12:00 PM.
