Joann E Alcorn

Joann E. Alcorn, age 93, of West Milton, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Stonespring of Vandalia. She was born September 8, 1930 to Howard W. & Mildred S. (Sluterbeck) Eby in Dayton, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Cecil E. Alcorn; daughter-in-law Patricia Alcorn; siblings Morris (Mickey) Eby, David (Judy) Eby, Nevin Eby, Rosemary (Larry) Collins, Malcolm Eby, and Marc (Terry) Eby.

She will be missed and remembered by her children Chuck Alcorn of West Milton, Diana Bucenski of Phoenix, AZ, Brad (Jeanna) Alcorn of West Milton, and Christina Alcorn (Matthew Curry) of West Chester; 3 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers Keith (Dolores) Eby of Hamilton and Curtis (Barbara) Eby of Eaton. Joann loved gardening, art, and painting.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
