Joann Lee Brown

Joann Lee Brown, age 85, of Troy, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Genesis Health Care Troy Center. She was born January 25, 1933 to the late Harold R. & Mary K. (Stewart) Pearson in Miami County, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her brothers Dean Pearson and Robert Pearson. She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband Ralph J. Brown of Troy; children Mary Kelley of Troy and Michael (Diane) Brown of Williamston, South Carolina; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brothers Mark Pearson of Tipp City and Dennis (Diana) Pearson of Las Vegas, NV. Joann was a 1951 Tipp City High School graduate and was a meter reader for the City of Tipp City. She also was a member of Brush Creek Church of God and loved doing crafts, knitting, and crocheting. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 11 at Brush Creek Church of God, 6370 Kessler Frederick Rd, Tipp City, OH 45371 with Pastor Dave Hixon officiating. Burial will follow in Curtis Cemetery, Tipp City. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Thursday, May 10 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton.
