Joyce O Barkley

Joyce O. Barkely, age 91, of West Milton, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. She was born May 1, 1935 to William Nathaniel & Ida Belle (Gill) Olson in Blacklick, Pennsylvania.

She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband William Alva Barkley; grandson Dwight Robert Barkley; siblings William Olson, Ruth Graff, IllaRoi Gill, Ronald Olson, Alvin Olson, JoAnn Beitzell, Dolores Libengood, and Wilda Getman.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving children Dwight Barkley of El Paso, TX, and LaJuana Barkley of West Milton, OH; grandson Thomas William Barkley of El Paso, TX; great grandchildren Xavier, Jayden, Leyla Barkley all of El Paso, TX; sister Helen Marshall; brother-in-law Richard Getman; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held from 11 AM- 1 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Interment will be in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, El Paso, Texas. Online memories of Joyce may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
