Joyce G. Hancock

Joyce G. Hancock, age 81, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Tipp City, OH, passed away on August 15, 2025 in Bradenton, FL. She was born in Dayton, OH to Murrel & Sarah Price on November 30, 1943.

She attended Tippecanoe High School class of 1961. She married Danny Hancock on August 17, 1963 in Covington, OH. She attended Ohio University. She worked as a customer service rep for Hobart Corporation for 13 years and as a records clerk for the Tipp City Police Department for 12 years and was a beautician for the most of her life. She was a devoted Christian and was a member of the Cortez Baptist Church. She loved cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and of course palm trees and beautiful beaches.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents Murrell & Sarah (Dawson) Price; her loving husband Danny N. Hancock; her brothers Don & Charles; sisters Barbara & Judy; sisters-in-law Elaine, Marilyn & Nancy; and brothers-in-law Dean & Dennis.

Joyce is survived by her children Scott, Steve and Susan; brothers Robert, Kenneth, and Ronald; sister Shirley; sister-in-law Nancy; grandchildren Zac, Jordan, Garrett, Kara, Morgan, Brooke, Makenna, and Erika; 6 great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Wheelock Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton. Online memories of Joyce may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
