Julia Carol Belliard, age 79, of West Milton, OH went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2022. She was born on Mother’s Day, 1943 to parents Luella I. (Creaig) Hornsby and Wilford E. “Jack” Creaig in Itmann, West Virginia.
Julia worked her entire life at the V.A. Hospital and retiring after a career in the supply department. Julia was a Christian who enjoyed Sunday service with her mother Luella at the West Milton Church of the Nazarene. She was a strong-willed, independent woman all her life. Family was utmost to Julia and she shared a special bond with her mother. She relocated to Ohio after retiring to care for her mother and be closer to her family. Julia and her mother Luella spent many years enjoying life until Luella’s passing in 2017. She had Parkinson’s disease for 10 years and dealt with it bravely.
Julia is preceded in death her parents Wilford E. “Jack Creaig and Luella I. (Creaig) Hornsby and brother Billy Creaig. Left to cherish her memory are sons Michael Pace (Kristy Sykes) and Curtis Pace (Carla Campbell); granddaughter Hailey Pace; extended family in West Virginia; Katie Campbell and family; Jeannie Youngblood; Zachary Walls; Dick and Donna Plunkett; Carolyn Hoskins; and Roberta Hufford.
Julia was cremated and there will be no services per her wishes. There will be a celebration of her life in the spring for family and friends. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton. The family would like to thank Hospice of Miami County.
