Kathy Trost Obituary Kathy Jean Trost

Age 78, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, at her home. She was born January 28, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, to her parents Lawrence & Helen Marie (Davis) Coomer. Kathy graduated from Northridge High School class of 1965 and retired from PSA in Human Resources. She enjoyed ceramics, bowling, watching her grandchildren play sports, and watching Lifetime. She is survived by her loving husband William “Doug” Trost of Pleasant Hill; children and their spouses Kelly Courtright Lairson of Union, Mike & Danielle Courtright of Clayton, Dustin & Debra Trost of Pleasant Hill; siblings and the their spouses Lawrence “Jack” Alice Coomer of Dayton, Connie & Mark Jacoby of Bryan; grandchildren Chelsea (Sarah), Kristin, Dani, Dustin (Debrah), Brandi (James) Britney (Justin), Kati (Cole), Destry, Dylan, Dawson, Dylan Trost, Dawson Trost, Celine Trost; 20 great grandchildren; numerous extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Joyce Ann Coomer. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 30, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Memories may be shared with the family at www.jackson-sarver.com
