Kenny J O'Dell

Kenny James O’Dell, age 75, of Laura, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 4, 1948 to Lloyd B. & Doris G. (Feitshans) O’Dell in Dayton, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son Kevin O’Dell; siblings Karen Altic, Joan O’Dell, and Tim O’Dell.

He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Martha “Marty” (Eberle) O’Dell of 51 years; daughter Megan (Gary) Crouch of Trenton; grandchildren Jonothan and Shane O’Dell, Dylan, Cassidy, and Carly Crouch; sister Janie McCullough.

Kenny graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, was a member of the Castine Church, loved playing softball, loved all sports especially Ohio State football. He loved being outdoors whether it was mowing his grass or being out in his woods. Kenny was a long time farmer and loved attending all of his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 16, 2023 at the Castine Church, 624 St. Rt. 127, Arcanum, OH 45304. Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery, Pitsburg. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Thursday, June 15 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton, OH 45383.
