Kent Allan Stockslager

Age 83, of Cincinnati, formerly of Troy, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026. He was born January 27, 1943, in Troy, Ohio, to his parents Paul Eugene & Ada Mildred (Nebus) Stockslager. He graduated from Newton High School class of 1961. On September 28, 1963, he married Carol Lynne Wehrley who he started dating in junior high. Kent served his country in the Army National Guard and later retired from Delphi as a supervisor after over 35 years of employment. He loved sports throughout his life which led him to coaching baseball, soccer and basketball for nearly 20 years while his kids were in school. He also served as an officer for the Kraus Lake Association.

He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife for over 63 years Carol Stockslager; son and daughter-in-law Jason & Kim Stockslager of Cincinnati; daughter and son-in-law Amber & Mark Ward of Agoura Hills, California; 5 grandchildren Adam, Luke, Sydney, Finn, and Rex Allan; brothers and sister-in-law James Stockslager (Lee, deceased ) of Warwick, Rhode Island, Gary & Connie Stockslager of Pleasant Hill; sister and brother-in-law Marilyn & Bruce Buroker of Troy; sister-in-law Norma Noll (Dick, deceased). He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Doug & Barb Wehrley.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, May 16, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 1 S. Main Street, Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family from 9:30-10:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
