L. Yvonne Jay

L. Yvonne Jay, age 90, of Laura, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. She was born December 13, 1934 to Lloyd L. & Dorothy M. (Gross) Buchholtz in Tipp City, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son David Jay; 1 sister.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband John L. Jay of 70 years; children Donald E. Jay of Laura, Connie E. Laycox of Englewood, and Daniel L. Jay of Laura; grandchildren John R. Laycox, and Shannon R. Gunter; 3 sisters; 1 brother; numerous nieces and nephews.

Yvonne was a Newton High School graduate and loved doing various crafts.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Old Union Cemetery, Ludlow Falls. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton.
