Larry Roland Drusen

Larry Roland Drusen, age 79, of Miamisburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 1, 1943 to Boyce Roland Drusen & Hypatia Deveta (Harbottle) Thompson in Glendale, California.

He is preceded by his parents; and brothers-in-law Ronald and Robert Lehman.

He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Beverly Ann (Lehman) Drusen of 58 years; children Christine Ann (Brian) Murphy of Milford, and David Roland (Rachel) Drusen of Miamisburg; grandchildren Jessica (Matthew) Murphy Rister of Columbus, Joseph Murphy of Cincinnati, Matthew Murphy (Meggie-fiancé) of Cincinnati, Andrew (Amanda) Murphy of Milford, Emily Murphy of Milford, Grant, Ross, and Nicholas Drusen of Miamisburg; great grandchildren Alexis and Trevor Fritz, Chase and Quinn Rister, Ashley Murphy; sister Linda (Lyndon) Komula of Veneta, OR; brothers-in-law Conrad (Donna) Aiken of Boise, ID, Richard Lehman of Las Vegas, NV and Raymond Buckley of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry loved his wife, family, friends, and church. He had a deep faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He attended Highland Brethren in Christ Church and enjoyed teaching Sunday School for many years. Larry retired from IBM after 30 years where he had earned a large number of honors and awards. He loved to travel visiting family and friends across America, but his favorite was rock hopping at Jackson Falls in North Conway, NH.

The family will receive friends from 9-11:30 AM on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Highland Brethren in Christ Church, 7210 S. Jay Rd., West Milton, OH 45383 with a memorial service beginning at 11:30 AM. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Englewood. Memorial contributions may be made to Highland Brethren in Christ Church Picnic Shelter Fund. Online memories of Larry may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
