Larry Junior Powell, age 67, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Grandview Hospital. He was born December 28, 1954 to the late James Forrest & Ida Mae (Hereford) Powell in Troy, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Betty Heisey. He will be missed and remembered by his brother Randall (Kandie) Powell of Troy; nieces Amy (Walt) Combs of West Milton and Marissa Powell of Troy; nephews Christopher Powell of Troy and David (Amy) Heisey of Troy. Larry was Troy High School graduate and served his country proudly in the United States Navy. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at True Life Community Church, 56 Foss Way, Troy, OH 45373 with a memorial service beginning at 4:00 PM.
