Linda Kay Ruf

Linda Kay Ruf, age 74, of Laura, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. She was born October 18, 1950 to William J. & Peg G. (Clarke) Hamiel in Dayton, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and daughter Nicole Renee Ruf.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband Edward J. Ruf of 55 years; son Tobias J. (Amanda) Ruf of Richmond Hill, GA; grandson Sam Ruf of Midway, GA and granddaughter Katie Ruf of Norfolk, VA; great granddaughter Callie Ruf of Midway, GA; brother Lee (Deb) Hamiel of Tifton, OH.

Interment will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025 in St. John’s Cemetery, E. Evanston Rd, Tipp City. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held from 2-4 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Hale House Event Center (adjacent the parking lot of Hale-Sarver FH), 320 N. Miami St, West Milton. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Research.
