Lorri Darlene Vo (Melvin)
March 29, 1969 – February 26, 2025
Lorri Darlene Vo, a woman whose strength and resilience were unmatched. Born on March 29, 1969, Lorri’s life was marked by both hardship and triumph. Over the years, she faced many health struggles, but it was her warrior spirit that shone through each time. Known for her feisty nature, stubborn determination, and infectious happiness. Lorri never backed down from a fight. Her ability to keep pushing forward, no matter the challenge, was a testament to the fierce love and dedication she had for her family and those around her.
Lorri was also known for her love of thrifting and finding those perfect, unexpected treasures. Lorri had a special talent for spotting something special at a bargain. She never passed up an opportunity to bring home a quirky item that made her laugh or something she knew would brighten up someone else’s day. Her passion for “treasure hunting” was something that brought her so much joy. Beyond her love for shopping, Lorri’s circle of love extended far and wide. She nurtured and cared for many children and elders in her community circle, treating them as her own family with a heart full of affection. Lorri’s capacity for love was boundless, and she touched the lives and hearts of countless people who were lucky to know her.
Lorri was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Paul; mother Lois; and beloved dog Bob. She is survived by her partner, Brenda Ballengee; her devoted father, Thomas Melvin; her son, Adam Vo (Meghan); her daughter, Kristin Elliott (Ryan); and her cherished grandchildren, Lily Sharp, Payten Elliott, and Rayna Vo; also her beloved cat Petunia.
She is deeply remembered by a wide circle of friends, extended family, and loved ones, each of whom was touched by her kindness and spirit. Her legacy of strength, love, and kindness will never be forgotten. Lorri leaves behind a community that will continue to honor her memory and the indomitable spirit she carried with her throughout her life.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Everheart Hospice, Greenville.
