Margie Irene Schoen

Margie Irene Schoen, age 87, of Piqua, formerly of West Milton, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Garbry Ridge. She was born January 13, 1936 to Harry William & Irene Vesta (Walker) Huff in Beavertown, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Barbara Harp, Nelson Huff, and Linda Hineline. She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband Roy C. Schoen of 64years; daughters Lynne(Michael) Nelson of Dayton, Paula (Web) Carey of Piqua; 2 grandchildren.

Margie was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration and loved crocheting, making ceramics and porcelain dolls. She also was a meticulous seamstress, collected vintage Prussia dishware, loved gardening and all that nature had to offer. 

The family will receive friends from 11 AM-1 PM on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County.
